Unity Basics
The basics of Unity are very simple. In the first screenshot we can see 3 different tabs on the left: Projects, Learn and Installs. On the right you have a cogwheel for settings and if you click on the picture frame you can login and sign up.
Projects Tab:

Firstly, when you click on the projects you will be able to see all of your saved projects. You can also add and make new projects. Your projects does not neccesarily need to be all the same version, the version can easily be changed.  What matters is what versiony ou make it in and you will always need to keep it that way otherwise it will cause problems.

Clicking on the 3 dots on the right besides your project will open a new window. This window will give you three options which can be of use depending on what you need.

Learn Tab:
In the learning tab you have 2 areas you can visit: projects and tutorials.
Clicking on Projects shows you a wide variety of different tutortials you can check out. When you click on one it will take you to a different website and give you a step-by-step plan on how to achieve your goal.  You can also track your progress by logging in and fill a bar meanwhile you are doing so, so you have a visual representation of your progress!

The Tutorials area teaches you the basics of coding and scripting within unity. It shows everything step-by-step through videos and you can also track your progress. There are also coding done for you to copy and paste if needed or to use as refference.
